A Turkish mackerel burger called balik ekmek.
wheat buns 2 pcs |
mackerel fillets (skin on) 2 pcs |
red onion 40 g |
tomatoes 100 g |
salad leaves 20 g |
lemon 1/2 pc |
olive oil 20 ml |
salt 1/2 tsp. |
black pepper 1/2 tsp. |
thyme 1/2 tsp. |
dried garlic 1/2 tsp. |
dried basil 1/2 tsp. |
oregano 1/2 tsp. |
red pepper to taste |
Step 1
Season the fish with salt and spices, brush with oil and fry until cooked through.
Step 2
Cut the buns in half, butter and brown.
Step 3
Put fish fillets on the bottom halves of the buns, season with lemon juice, add onion and tomato rings, salad leaves and cover with the top halves. Bon appetit!
