A dish with Jamaican roots, namely the famous spicy Jerk chicken baked on a can

| sea salt 150 g |
| butter 70 g |
| Jerk seasoning: |
| sugar 2 tsp. |
| sea salt 2 tsp. |
| dried garlic 2 tsp. |
| green onion 2 tsp. |
| ground cinnamon 1 tsp. |
| zira 1 tsp. |
| cayenne pepper 1 tsp. |
| black pepper 1 tsp. |
| allspice 1 tsp. |
| paprika 1 tsp. |
| thyme 1 tsp. |
| nutmeg 1/2 tsp. |
Step 1
Dissolve the salt in water and leave the chicken in it overnight. Then blot with a paper towel.
Step 2
Mix all the spices for the jerk seasoning in a bowl.
Step 3
Pour the water in which the chicken was soaking into the jar, place it on a baking tray and set the chicken on it. Tie the legs together with foil! Brush the chicken liberally with butter and sprinkle with the spice mixture.
Step 4
Bake at 190° for an hour to an hour and twenty minutes. Bon appetit!
