Worcestershire sauce gives the dish a slightly tangy, sweet and sour flavor. It is very difficult to replace it with something else. If you like to experiment, a bottle of this English invention will never be superfluous in your kitchen.

Ingredients

toast 2-4 pieces
onion (cut into rings) 1 pc
hard cheese 2 slices
Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

Step 1

Place onions on bread, drizzle with Worcestershire sauce to taste, top with cheese.

Step 2

Toast in the oven under the grill or in a sandwich maker. In the latter case, the sandwich should be covered with bread. Beforehand, grease the outside of the toast with a little butter to create an appetizing toasted crust.

If your sandwich maker has toast compartments divided into triangles, place the toppings accordingly, otherwise they will fall out when pressed.
