Even from such a simple vegetable as potatoes, you can make a real "candy". More precisely, tasty pancakes. And if you add quince to grated potatoes and serve the dish with herring.... In general, let's not tease - cook and try it yourself!

Step 1
Peel the potatoes. Also peel the quince and remove the core. Grate the potatoes and quince on a coarse grater.
Step 2
Add the egg and flour to the potatoes and quince and mix all the ingredients thoroughly. Season the mixture with a pinch of salt and black pepper.
Step 3
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan. With a tablespoon, place several portions of the potato-aiwa mass in the frying pan. Fry the pancakes over medium heat for 3-4 minutes on each side.
Step 4
Transfer the finished draniki to a paper napkin to absorb excess fat. Serve the pancakes with sour cream, cherry tomatoes and slices of lightly salted herring.
