Basic cupcake recipe in a mug.

Variations to suit your taste. Add your favorite ingredients to the batter: cocoa powder, vanilla sugar, chocolate pieces, almonds, nuts, oats, dried, candied or fresh fruit or a dash of rum... Your imagination is unlimited. Trust yourself and choose what you prefer! Maybe it will be green onions and crème fraîche?

Ingredients


flour 2 tbsp.
sugar 1 tsp.
milk 2 tbsp.
butter (unscented) 1 tbsp.
leavening agent 1 tsp.
egg 1 pc
FOR VEGANS:
banana 1/2 pc
flax seeds (ground) 1½ tbsp.
water 75 ml

Instructions


Step 1

Mix the dry ingredients first, then add the liquid ingredients. Fill the mug no more than halfway with batter. If you want to remove the muffin from the mug, grease it with oil beforehand.

Step 2

Put the mug in the microwave for 90 seconds, power set to 800 watts. Or for 20 minutes in the oven at 180°.

Step 3

Decorating. After taking the cupcake out of the mug, decorate it with powdered sugar, chocolate or icing sugar. You can also add sugar stars or pastry crumbs as decoration. Not too heavy cream or soft pudding would be a great idea for decoration. You will see how many things you can do with a small cupcake and be surprised.

For vegans. In the basic recipe, add half a mashed banana instead of an egg. Or 1½ tbsp ground flax seeds with 75 ml water.
