Spicy turkey baked with cranberries, prunes and ruddy potatoes
turkey shank 2 pcs |
smoked prunes 100 g |
dried cranberries 100 g |
melted butter 200 g |
olive oil 25 ml |
potatoes 1 kg |
garlic 1 head |
fresh thyme 10 g |
salt to taste |
pepper blend to taste |
Step 1
Combine chopped prunes and cranberries, thyme leaves, oil, salt and pepper blend. Stir!
Step 2
Spread most of the mixture under the skin of the shanks and rub the rest on top. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 3
Slice the potatoes, season with the pepper mixture, salt and olive oil. Stir!
Step 4
Place everything in a mold or on a baking tray, add the thyme sprigs and the garlic head cut in half. Cover with foil and bake at 190° for 1,5 hours.
Step 5
Then remove the foil, pour the juice over the shanks, increase the temperature to 210° and bake for another 30 minutes. Bon appetit!
