Pork shanks in tomato sauce

Pork shanks in tomato sauce that will be our last delicious meat memory before Lent.

Ingredients


pigs' feet 4 pcs
parsley root 1 pc
carrot 1 pc
onions 2 pcs
tomato sauce 2-3 tbsp.
vegetable oil 1 tbsp.
bay leaf 4 pcs
allspice 5 peas
salt, sugar, black pepper to taste

Instructions


Step 1

Put the pigs' feet, peeled onion, carrot and parsley root, salt and spices in a pot. Fill with water and simmer for about 5 hours.

Step 2

Then divide the legs into pieces, removing large bones.

Step 3

Fry the chopped onion in oil. Add the legs and fry for 4-5 minutes.

Step 4

Then add the tomato sauce and sugar. Fry for another 3-4 minutes. Season with black pepper. Bon appetit!
