Great Thursday or Maundy Thursday is known in Germany as "Green Thursday". On this day the last preparations for the Easter celebration begin. It is the day when the last preparations for Easter begin.
The residents of the city on the Main call the traditional Frankfurt sauce "Frankfurter Grüne Soße": Frankfurter Grüne Soße. It is made from the obligatory seven herbs: cucumber, chervil, watercress, parsley, small bloodroot, sorrel and chives.

Step 1
Finely chop all the herbs and gradually introduce them into the sauce made of sour cream whipped with yogurt, crushed garlic, spicy mustard, lemon juice, boiled potatoes passed through a sieve and vegetable oil.
Step 2
Salt and pepper the sauce. Serve with boiled potatoes sprinkled with sesame seeds.
Instead of potatoes, you can use one hard-boiled egg: that's what the recipe originally called for, by the way.
