We try to make the most of pumpkin season, especially since it can be used to make a lot of different dishes. Here is our favorite recipe for pancakes - a great option for breakfast.
pumpkin 150 g |
flour 170 g |
eggs 2 pcs |
kefir 200 ml |
sugar 3 tbsp. |
leavening agent (or baking soda) 1 tsp. |
salt |
vegetable oil for frying |
Step 1
Peel and grate the pumpkin.
Step 2
Mix with all the ingredients and mix well. The batter should turn out to be moderately thick, as for ordinary fritters. Pumpkin is sweet by itself, so add sugar carefully.
Step 3
Fry the pumpkin fritters over low heat so that the sugar does not caramelize and the fritters do not burn.
Step 4
Place fried fritters on a paper towel to remove excess fat.
