Step 1

Clean the mackerel from the insides and cut off the fins. Slice into washers.

Step 2

Boil water in a saucepan, add spices, salt and a little sugar. Boil for 2-3 minutes.

Step 3

Pour in the olive oil and cool.

Step 4

Cut the shallots in half and put them in the jar with the mackerel. Top with the carrots cut into thin strips and the rosemary sprigs. Fill with marinade, add vinegar and put in the refrigerator for 2-3 days.
