Today is International Banana Day. We suggest you celebrate it by preparing a flavorful and crispy banana puff.
Ready puff pastry 1 package |
Bananas 4-5 pcs. |
Walnuts 150 g |
Brown sugar 100 g |
Egg yolk 1 pc. |
Step 1
Defrost the puff pastry and place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Make a shallow cut around the perimeter.
Step 2
Grind the nuts in a coffee grinder along with the brown sugar. Mashed potato 2 bananas with a fork and mix the mashed banana with the chopped nuts. Spread the paste on the pastry sheet.
Step 3
Cut the remaining bananas into strips and place on the base.
Step 4
Brush the sides of the puffs with egg yolk and bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes at 170C.
Step 5
Serve the puff with grainy cottage cheese, sprinkled with powdered sugar.
