Step 1
Beat soft butter and sugar with a mixer. Add the eggs and beat again.
Step 2
Gradually add the flour and baking powder. Whisk until a smooth dough forms and add the lemon zest.
Step 3
Place parchment paper in the bucket of the bread maker and transfer the batter. Flatten and bake for 60 minutes with the "Bake" program set. Cool in the bucket of the bread maker and transfer to a plate.
Step 4
Prepare the syrup by boiling the sugar, lemon juice and water. Soak the cooled muffin in the syrup.
