Step 1
Mashed potato the boiled potatoes with butter until mashed.
Step 2
Fry the bacon in a dry frying pan, then transfer to a paper towel.

Fry the onions in the bacon fat until transparent.

Place the garnish rings on a parchment-lined baking tray. Fill them halfway with potatoes, then arrange the onions, half the bacon, another layer of potatoes and sprinkle with grated cheese.
