A simple and hearty American breakfast - poached eggs with ham and kefir butter biscuit
butter (chilled) 85 g |
kefir (chilled) 200 ml |
wheat flour 230 g |
salt pinch |
sugar 50 g |
leavening agent 8 g |
egg yolk 2 pcs |
eggs 4 pcs |
ham 4 slices |
vegetable oil 50 ml |
black pepper to taste |
Step 1
Sift together the flour and baking powder, add the salt, sugar and chopped butter. Grind everything into crumbs. Pour in the kefir and knead the dough. Form it into a rectangle 2 centimeters thick and put it in the freezer for 10 minutes.

Then cut the dough into 6 pieces, separate them from each other, brush with egg yolk and bake at 200 ℃ for 10-15 minutes.
