Flavorful ciabatta sandwiches with spicy melted butter, roasted peppers and lamb

FOR FLAVORFUL MELTED BUTTER: |
butter (82%) 200 g |
ground black pepper to taste |
turmeric a pinch |
dried garlic a pinch |
rosemary a pinch |
thyme a pinch |
oregano a pinch |
honey 20 g |
Step 1
Melt the butter in a heavy-bottomed saucepan, bring to the boil, add the garlic, rosemary, thyme, oregano, pepper and simmer for 15 minutes on low heat. Then strain the oil through gauze, add honey, turmeric and stir. (You can store such oil in a jar without refrigeration for up to a year)
Step 2
On a dry hot pan, fry the bell peppers until burnt. Wrap them in foil and leave them for 20 minutes. After the time has passed, peel the peppers from the skin and seeds and blot them with a paper towel.
Step 3
Cut the ciabatta in half, brush each half with melted butter and toast in a dry frying pan.
Step 4
Place thinly sliced olives, bell pepper slices, slices of lamb, cheese on the bottom half of the ciabatta and cover with the top half. Wrap each sandwich in a paper bag.
