Ingredients


round grain rice 100 g
cucumber (greenhouse, long) 1 pc
crab sticks 100 g
cream cheese 100 g
apple juice 30 ml
apple cider vinegar 20 ml
sugar 8 g
salt pinch

Instructions


Step 1

Prepare the dressing for the rice. Combine the juice, vinegar, sugar and salt. Bring to a boil and remove from the stove.

Step 2

Rinse the rice and soak in water for 1 hour. After this time, drain the water, pour the rice into a saucepan and pour cold water over the rice to cover it by half a centimeter. Cook under a closed lid over medium-high heat for 15 minutes. Then, pour the rice into a bowl, add the dressing and mix well.

Step 3

Combine the crumbled crab sticks with the cream cheese and transfer to a pastry bag.

Step 4

Wrap a bamboo mat with food wrap. Moisten your hands with water, spread the rice over the surface of the mat by three quarters. Press half of the filling onto the edge of the rice and roll up the roll. Slice the cucumber into thin slices, blot off the moisture. Place the slices on the mat, smear the edges with filling and wrap the roll in them. Prepare the second roll in the same way. Serve the rolls with soy sauce, cutting each one into 6 pieces.

Instead of crab sticks, you can use any other filling - fish, shrimp, avocado, etc.
