A Portuguese miracle — Francesinha, or as it's popularly known, the "sandwich killer."

| smoked pork brisket 100 g |
| hunting sausages 3 pieces |
| hard cheese 8 slices |
| vegetable oil 20 ml |
| BEER SAUCE: |
| pelati tomatoes 250 g |
| garlic 3 cloves |
| onions 100 g |
| light beer 250 ml |
| sugar 15 g |
| butter 40 g |
| bay leaf 2 pcs |
| TO TASTE: |
| salt |
| fresh chili pepper |
| oregano |
| black pepper |
Step 1
Prepare the sauce. Saute chopped onion, garlic and chili pepper in butter. Add the chopped tomatoes, beer, bay leaf, sugar, oregano, salt and black pepper and simmer for 10-12 minutes. Remove the bay leaf and whisk the sauce until smooth.
Step 2
Take two pieces of toast, on each place the roasted brisket, a slice of cheese, toast, fried sausage, ham, cheese, ham and cheese again, toast and another slice of cheese. Bake the sandwiches for 5-7 minutes at 200 degrees. Then put in the sauce and serve. Enjoy your appetite!
