Potato rolls with herring and pickled onions
mashed potatoes 400 g |
herring fillet 100 g |
nori sheets 2 pcs |
red onion 60 g |
honey 10 g |
apple cider vinegar 10 ml |
seedless olives 40 g |
salt to taste |
Step 1
Slice the onion into feathers, crush it and scald it with boiling water. Put them in a mixture of vinegar and honey with salt. Chop the olives.
Step 2
Place each nori sheet on a sushi mat, spread half of the mashed potatoes over two-thirds of its surface. Place half of the herring, onions and olives. Moisten the edges of the nori with water, roll up the rolls and put them in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Step 3
Then slice and, if desired, serve with caviar, chopped green onions and gherkins. Enjoy.
