The traditional flatbread of many eastern countries — katlama with onions.
wheat flour 230 g |
warm water 120 ml |
onions 230 g |
butter (melted) 50 g |
vegetable oil 60 ml |

Step 1
Combine the water with the salt and a quarter of the vegetable oil. Pour the mixture into the sifted flour, knead the dough, divide it into two parts and wrap in clingfilm.
Step 2
Cut the onion into half rings, salt and knead with your hands. Add the spices and mix.
Step 3
Dust the table with flour. Roll each piece of dough into a cake, brush with butter, spread half of the onion on the surface and roll up into a roll.
Step 4
Then form the rolls into snails, roll them to the diameter of the pan and fry in vegetable oil under a lid for 8-10 minutes on each side. Bon appetit.
