Flavorful lean cherry pie with walnuts.

cherry syrup 100 ml |

fresh frozen cherries 250 g |

walnuts (crushed) 120 g |

Step 1
Add the baking powder to the sifted flour and stir with a whisk.
Step 2
In a separate bowl, combine the cherry syrup and sugar, pour in the water and stir until the sugar is dissolved.

Stir this mixture into the flour mixture and mix until smooth.
Step 4
Add the vegetable oil, nuts, strained cherries and mix well.
Step 5
Let the dough rest for 5 minutes, then pour it into an oiled mold.
Step 6
Bake at 180 degrees for about 40 minutes.

Then let the cake cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar. If desired, decorate with cocktail cherries. Enjoy.
