The appetizer is a simple, yet darn tasty cold appetizer with the intriguing name Deviled Eggs.
eggs (hard-boiled) 6 pcs. |
bacon 100 g |
mayonnaise 60 g |
wine vinegar 5 ml |
mustard (not spicy) 5 g |
vegetable oil 10 ml |
TO TASTE: |
salt |
black pepper |
smoked paprika |
chili pepper flakes |
Step 1
Fry the chopped bacon in vegetable oil, transfer to a paper towel.
Step 2
Cut the eggs in half, separate the whites from the yolks. Add mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar, salt, black pepper and half of the bacon to the yolks. Mix until smooth.
Step 3
Stuff the whites with the yolk mixture, sprinkle with the remaining bacon, paprika and chili flakes. Top with green onions, if desired. Enjoy.
