| soaked split peas 250 g |
| sesame seeds 1 tbsp. |
| olive oil 1 tbsp. |
| garlic 2 cloves |
| ginger root 20 g |
| chili pepper 1/2 pc |
| onion 1 pc |
| cilantro 5 sprigs |
| ground zira 1/2 tsp. |
| turmeric 1 tsp. |
| wheat flour 4 tbsp. |
| salt 1/2 tsp. |
| vegetable oil 300 ml |

Step 1
Prepare the tahini paste. Grind the sesame seeds in a coffee grinder, add the olive oil and mix well.
Step 2
Grind the peas in a blender with a little water. Add chopped garlic, ginger, chili pepper, onion, cilantro and chop again in the blender.
Step 3
Transfer the resulting mixture into a deep bowl, add zira, tahini paste, salt, black pepper, turmeric, flour and mix everything well.
Step 4
Form into balls and deep fry until golden.
Step 5
Serve with fresh herbs, salad leaves, hot pepper and lemon.
