Overseas burekas made of crispy puff pastry with ham, tomatoes, mozzarella, green onions and eggs

Ingredients


puff pastry (any kind) 300 g
mozzarella cheese (grated) 120 g
ham 100 g
skinned tomatoes 200 g
green onions 30 g
flour 20 g
eggs 2 pcs
yolk 1 pc
TO TASTE:
salt
black pepper
oregano

Instructions


Step 1

Dice the tomatoes, put them in a sieve, then squeeze out the juice.

Step 2

Chop the ham and onion, combine with the cheese, tomatoes, season with salt and pepper.

Step 3

Dust the table with flour and cut the dough into 4 squares. Roll out each square to a thickness of 3 mm.

Step 4

Place two sheets of dough on a parchment-lined baking tray, spread the filling over them, not reaching the edges, beat an egg in the center. Cover with the dough and press the edges with a fork.

Step 5

Brush the burekas with egg yolk, sprinkle with oregano and bake for 20 minutes at 200 degrees. Enjoy.
