The story of how the kisel saved the city is recorded even in the most ancient chronicle "The Tale of Bygone Years". Dasha has slightly different plans: for starters, you can simply make a very tasty and flavorful kisel with the most desirable berry - strawberries!
frozen strawberries 300 g |
water 1 liter |
cold water (for starch) 1/2 tbsp. |
sugar 6 tbsp. |
starch 2 tbsp. |
vanilla 1 pod |
lemon 1/2 pc |
Step 1
Put a small saucepan of water on the fire. Bring the water to the boil, add the strawberries and sugar.
Step 2
Squeeze the juice of half a lemon. Cut open the vanilla pod and remove the seeds from half of the pod. Add the lemon juice and vanilla seeds to the pot.
Step 3
Stir the mixture thoroughly.
Step 4
Pour the contents of the saucepan into a blender and whisk until smooth.
Step 5
Strain the strawberry mixture through a fine sieve, pour back into the saucepan and place over a low heat.
Step 6
Add the starch diluted with water to the pot, stir thoroughly and allow the sour cream to thicken.
