Tender and nutritious flatbreads from Vainakh cuisine called Chepalgash
wheat flour 300 g |
kefir (room temperature) 200 ml |
cottage cheese (low-fat) 200 g |
green onion 10 g |
parsley 10 g |
dill 10 g |
sugar 5 g |
salt 3 g |
baking soda 1/2 tsp. |
vegetable oil 15 ml |
butter (melted) 50 g |
Step 1
Mix salt, sugar, baking soda and kefir. Put chopped herbs, cottage cheese and vegetable oil. Stir.
Step 2
Add the sifted flour, knead the dough, wrap it in clingfilm and leave it for 20 minutes.
Step 3
Then knead the dough, form 3-4 mm thick flatbreads and fry them for 3 minutes on each side on a dry frying pan under a lid.
Step 4
Brush with melted butter. Bon appetit!
