Original, puffy, Japanese butter and honey soufflé fritters
| wheat flour 30 g |
| yolks 2 pcs |
| whites 3 pcs |
| milk 20 ml |
| vegetable oil 20 ml |
| vanilla sugar 10 g |
| table vinegar 1 tsp. |
| sugar 40 g |
| butter 40 g |
| honey 30 g |
Step 1
Combine the milk with the yolks, half the vegetable oil and beat with a whisk. Add the wheat flour and mix well.
Step 2
Mix in the sugar and vanilla sugar. Pour the table vinegar into the whites and beat with a mixer until sharp peaks form, gradually incorporate the sugar mixture.
Step 3
Combine the egg white and yolk mixture and transfer to a pastry bag.
Step 4
Butter a frying pan and press out the batter in the shape of circles, about 4 cm in diameter and 2 cm high. Bake the fritters for 3-4 minutes on each side with the lid on.
Step 5
Combine the honey and butter and heat through. Pour the mixture over the fritters. If desired, decorate with your favorite berries. Bon appetit!
