Rooibos latte tea with a foam milk cap and a sprinkle of cinnamon.

Ingredients


black pepper 10 peas
cardamom 8 pieces
anise 4 stars
cinnamon 2 sticks
regular or vegan milk 700 g
brown sugar 70 g
vanilla 1 pod
water 1 liter
rooibos tea 6 bags

Instructions


Step 1

Coarsely grind the pepper, cardamom and star anise in a mortar. Lightly fry over medium heat with the cinnamon sticks.

Step 2

Add the milk, brown sugar and the core of the vanilla pod. Cook the mixture under a lid over low heat for about 15-20 minutes.

Step 3

At the same time, boil water, add rooibos tea to it and infuse for 6 minutes.

Step 4

Remove the tea bags. Strain the milk and mix it with the tea.

Serve rooibos chai latte hot with a cap of foamed milk and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
