Shop salad is an Eastern European dish popular in Bulgaria, Macedonia, Serbia, Montenegro, Albania and the Czech Republic. It originates from western Bulgaria (the Shops are an ethnic group of Bulgarians).

Ingredients


tomatoes 3 pcs
cucumbers 2 pcs
green bell pepper 3 pcs
red onion 2 pcs
bryndza 100 g
black olives 10-15 pcs
parsley 1/2 bundle
vegetable oil 2 tsp.
salt, vinegar to taste

Instructions


Step 1

Slice the onion into thin strips or chop finely. Peel the peppers, cut lengthwise and cut into strips. Peel the cucumbers and dice together with the tomatoes.

Step 2

Mix all the vegetables in a suitable bowl and salt. Season with vegetable oil and lemon juice.

Step 3

Decorate the salad with olives, shredded cheese and finely chopped parsley.

You can also add chili peppers to the salad.
