 
On the first day of Pancake Day we offer you a recipe for not only delicious, but also very beautiful pancakes! Poppy seeds are responsible for the beauty, and not only the pancakes themselves, but also honey-mint sour cream for the flavor.
| milk 200 ml | 
| flour 90 g | 
| eggs 2 pcs | 
| butter 20 g | 
| sugar 2 tbsp. | 
| salt pinch | 
| poppy seeds 2 tbsp. | 
| sour cream 100 ml | 
| honey | 
| fresh mint | 
| orange peel | 
Step 1
Pour boiling water over the poppies and leave for 20-25 minutes.
Step 2
Prepare the pancake batter by beating the eggs with milk, sugar and a pinch of salt.
Step 3
Pour in the flour, add the melted butter and steamed poppy seeds. Mix thoroughly.
Step 4
Bake thin pancakes.
Step 5
Grind fresh mint leaves in a mortar. Add sour cream and honey. Stir and serve with poppy seed pancakes and garnish with orange zest.
