Did you know that the British have their own Pancake Week? However, unlike our Pancake Week, it lasts only one day and is called Pancake Day. Well, and we, continuing Shrovetide, are baking pancakes again, or rather joining Dasha!
melted milk 300 ml |
flour 6 tbsp. |
vegetable oil 1/2 tbsp. |
egg 1 pc |
sugar 1 tbsp. |
salt |
FOR HOMEMADE CARAMEL: |
butter 30 g |
sugar 3 tbsp. |
flaked almonds 1 pinch |
Step 1
Beat the egg with the sugar and a pinch of salt. Continue beating and pour in the melted milk.
Step 2
Sift the wheat flour into the batter and mix thoroughly.
Step 3
Pour in the vegetable oil and knead the dough again thoroughly.
Step 4
Heat the griddle well and fry the pancakes.
Step 5
Serve the pancakes with a generous portion of homemade caramel.
Step 6
For the homemade caramel: Melt the butter over a low heat. Pour in the sugar and flaked almonds. Stir the mixture occasionally, making sure that the sugar melts, caramelizes, but does not burn.
