Quick apple pita strudel from our viewer's recipe

Ingredients


Armenian pita 1 sheet
apple (large) 1 pc
raisins 70 g
lemon 1/3 pc
cinnamon 1/2 tsp.
cane sugar 2 tbsp.
butter 100 g
cream (30%) 100 ml
powdered sugar 2 tbsp.

Instructions


Step 1

Dice the peeled apple, add raisins, lemon juice, cane sugar, ground cinnamon and mix.

Step 2

Grease a sheet of Armenian lavash with melted butter, then spread the filling evenly over it.

Step 3

Roll up the pita and place it on a baking tray with the seam down.

Step 4

Brush with melted butter and bake in the oven at 200 degrees Celsius for 15 minutes.

Step 5

Meanwhile, whisk the cream with the powdered sugar to steady peaks.

Step 6

Serve the finished apple strudel with the whipped cream. Sprinkle with cinnamon, powdered sugar and garnish with a sprig of mint if desired.
