Juicy, energizing chicken with broccoli and sesame seeds.
chicken thigh flesh 0.5 kg |
broccoli florets 300 g |
garlic 4 cloves |
grated ginger root 20 g |
honey 80 g |
ketchup 60 g |
soy sauce 80 ml |
apple cider vinegar 30 ml |
olive oil 30 ml |
sesame oil 20 ml |
water 80 ml |
roasted sesame 10 g |
cornstarch 1.5 tsp. |
salt, black pepper to taste |
Step 1
Pour boiling water over the broccoli florets, cover and leave for 5 minutes. Then drain in a colander.
Step 2
Slice the meat, mince the garlic and fry in olive oil until browned.
Step 3
Add the broccoli. Season with salt and pepper and fry for a couple more minutes.
Step 4
Meanwhile, prepare the sauce. Mix together the sesame oil, honey, ginger, vinegar, soy sauce, ketchup, starch and water.
Step 5
Pour over meat and broccoli and cook until sauce thickens. Sprinkle with sesame seeds. Enjoy!
