Rabbit stewed in sour cream with bacon

Ingredients


rabbit legs 4 pcs
bacon 100 g
low-fat sour cream 400 g
onions 100 g
garlic 3 cloves
white dry wine 100 ml
water 300 ml
zest of one lemon
vegetable oil 30 ml
bay leaf 3 pcs
TO TASTE:
salt
sugar
black pepper
thyme

Instructions


Step 1

Season the meat with salt and black pepper, pour the sour cream over it. Cover with foil and leave at room temperature for 2 hours.

Step 2

Chop the bacon, fry in oil until browned. Add the chopped onion and garlic, fry a little.

Step 3

Then pour in the wine, add the thyme, bay leaf, lemon zest, sugar, salt and black pepper.

Step 4

Evaporate the wine halfway, pour in the water and put the rabbit legs in the pan along with the sour cream. Braise for 1 hour. Bon appetit!
