Ukrainian potato palyushki with cracklings, fried onions and brynza
| potatoes (boiled) 250 g |
| wheat flour 150 g |
| egg 1 pc |
| onion 80 g |
| smoked lard 100 g |
| TO TASTE: |
| dill |
| bryndza |
| sour cream |
| salt |
| black pepper |
| nutmeg |
Step 1
Mash warm, peeled potatoes, add egg, salt, spices, flour and knead into a thick dough.
Step 2
Divide the dough, shape into sausages and cut them crosswise.
Step 3
Boil in salted water.
Step 4
Cut lard into cubes and fry with chopped onion. Combine with the sausages.
Step 5
For the sauce, mix chopped dill with sour cream and bryndza. Enjoy.
