Potato halushki baked with mushrooms in cream sauce under a cheese crust

Step 1
Mash the potatoes, add the egg, salt, black pepper, nutmeg, melted butter and flour. Knead the dough. Cover with clingfilm and leave to rise for 30 minutes.
Step 2
Fry the chopped onion and garlic in the oil. Add the mushrooms and fry until browned. Season with salt and pepper, pour in the cream, season with thyme and stir.
Step 3
On a flour-dusted surface, form sausages with a diameter of 2-3 centimeters and cut them into 1.5 centimeter wide pieces. Place in salted boiling water and cook after they float for 2-3 minutes.
Step 4
Then place in pots, add the mushrooms in the sauce, sprinkle with grated cheese and black pepper. Bake at 200° for 10-15 minutes. Bon appetit!
