Armenian spicy and flavorful beef liver tjvjik
| beef liver 600 g |
| onions 100 g |
| tomatoes (skinned) 150 g |
| garlic 2 cloves |
| cilantro 10 g |
| red basil 10 g |
| butter 40 g |
| vegetable oil 40 ml |
| TO TASTE: |
| fresh chili pepper |
| salt |
| sugar |
| ground black pepper |
| paprika |
Step 1
Cut the liver cleaned from the film into small pieces and fry in a mixture of vegetable and butter oil until half-cooked.
Step 2
Chop the onion and garlic, add to the liver and fry until the onion softens.
Step 3
Then add the diced tomatoes, salt, pepper, sugar, paprika and stew for 5 minutes.
Step 4
Then chop and add the chili peppers, cilantro, basil and stir-fry for a few more minutes, stirring constantly.
Step 5
Serve the zhvjik with cilantro, basil and chili peppers if desired. Enjoy.
