Traditional Danish doughnuts Ebleskiver with apples
wheat flour 225 g |

vanilla sugar 20 g |

kefir 320 ml |
Golden apples 200 g |

Step 1
Sift the flour with the baking powder, add the salt, sugar, vanilla sugar and mix. Separate the yolks from the whites. Mix the yolks with the kefir, combine with the flour and beat with a mixer. Cover the dough with a towel and leave for 30 minutes.
Step 2
Put a pinch of salt in the whites, beat with a mixer and mix into the dough. Add the cardamom, chopped apples, lemon zest and mix.
Step 3
Bake the doughnuts in a small amount of oil in a special frying pan, turning 3-4 times to form spheres.
Step 4
If desired, sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve with jam. Enjoy.
