Puffy grandmother's cherry pies, which Andrei Dromov used to devour as a child (day and night!).

| wheat flour 250 g |
| warm milk 100 ml |
| melted butter 50 g |
| fat sour cream 50 g |
| sugar 25 g |
| vanilla sugar 5 g |
| egg 1 egg |
| yolk 1 pc |
| dry yeast 4 g |
| salt a pinch |
| FILLING: |
| frozen cherries 0,5 kg |
| sugar 75 g |
| potato starch 15 g |
Step 1
Prepare the paste: combine 2 tablespoons of flour, milk, yeast, sugar and vanilla sugar. Stir, cover and leave in a warm place for 15-20 minutes.
Step 2
Then add the sour cream, butter, egg, remaining flour and salt to the paste. Knead the dough, cover and leave in a warm place for 30-40 minutes.
Step 3
Discard the cherries in a colander. Mix the sugar and starch separately.
Step 4
Flatten the dough on a dusted surface and divide into equal pieces.
Step 5
Form the patties by filling them with the cherries sprinkled with the sugar and starch mixture.
Step 6
Cover with a towel and leave in a warm place for 15 minutes.
Step 7
Then grease the pies with egg yolk and bake for 20-25 minutes at 180 degrees. Bon appetit!
