Tender Chinese beef in spicy sweet and sour sauce
beef flesh 0.5 kg |
cornstarch 60 g |
vegetable oil 60 ml |
grated ginger root 15 g |
garlic 5 cloves |
soy sauce 80 ml |
water 80 ml |
sugar 120 g |
green onion 20 g |
chili pepper to taste |
Step 1
Coat the beef slices in starch, fry in vegetable oil, then transfer to a plate.
Step 2
Fry the chopped garlic, chili pepper and ginger in the same oil. Add the soy sauce, water and sugar.
Step 3
When the mixture thickens a bit, put the beef and chopped onions in it. Cook, stirring, for another 20-30 seconds. Enjoy!
