Mashed potatoes are a common way of preparing potatoes all over the world. It is usually used as a side dish, but can also be used as an ingredient for other dishes.

Butter 50 g |
Sour cream 3 tbsp. |
Milk 100 ml |
Step 1
Wash the potatoes, put them in a pot, salt and bring to a boil.
Step 2
Cook at a low boil so that the water covers the potatoes halfway, 20-30 minutes.
Step 3
Peel, put back in the pot and keep on the heat for a few seconds to dry.
Step 4
Add the butter and sour cream. Mash the potatoes with a special press.
Step 5
Warm the milk and whisk the mashed potatoes with a wooden spoon.
Step 6
Salt if necessary and serve immediately.
Do not use a food processor to make this dish or it will turn out too stringy.
