German potato salad with mushrooms and gherkins

When you order a classic Wiener Schnitzel in Austria or sausages in Germany, you will certainly be offered traditional potato salad as a side dish. But you can serve such salad just as it is, without meat company. Today we are preparing German potato salad in Ukrainian style with pickled opiats and gherkins!

Ingredients


young potatoes 300 g
gherkins 50 g
pickled opiates 50 g
sour cream 1-2 tbsp.
green onion
olive oil
mustard seed
salt
pepper

Instructions


Step 1

Boil the potatoes until tender.

Step 2

Mix the mustard seeds with a little olive oil. Add finely chopped green onions, gherkins and pickled mushrooms.

Step 3

Add the sour cream and stir to combine.

Step 4

Add the potatoes to the prepared dressing, salt and pepper. Stir and serve.
