A great appetizer for a man's meal — beer battered cabbage with barbecue sauce
white cabbage (800 g) 1 pc |
light beer 0,5 l |
barbecue sauce 120 g |
chicken broth 250 ml |
wine vinegar 20 ml |
honey 20 g |
zest of 1/2 lemon |
melted butter 50 ml |
bay leaf 3 pcs |

Step 1
Carefully cut the cob from the cabbage.
Step 2
Combine the beer, chicken stock, lemon zest, bay leaf and salt in a saucepan. Bring the mixture to a boil, put in the cabbage and simmer for 10 minutes.
Step 3
Then cut the cabbage into 4 pieces, place on a parchment-lined baking tray, brush with the mixture of butter, dried garlic, peppers and salt.
Step 4
Bake at 200 degrees for 40 minutes.
Step 5
While baking, after 20 and 30 minutes, brush the cabbage with a mixture of barbecue sauce, honey and wine vinegar. Bon appetit!
