Potato baskets with herring

A great appetizer — crispy potato baskets with herring.

Ingredients


potatoes 6 pcs
cheese 30 g
egg 1 pc
salt
herring fillet 250 g
cottage cheese 150 g
apple 1 pc
gherkins 5 pcs
Crimean onion 1 pc
mayonnaise
herbs and decorations to taste

Instructions


Step 1

Peel the potatoes, grate them coarsely and squeeze out the juice.

Step 2

Grate the cheese on a medium grater and combine with the potatoes. Add the egg and mix well.

Step 3

Grease baking molds with oil and spread a thin layer of cheese-potato mixture in them. Bake in the oven at 200 ºC for 20 minutes. Let the tartlets cool down.

Step 4

Chop apples, gherkins, onions and herbs in a blender. Fill with a mixture of cottage cheese and mayonnaise.

Step 5

Cut herring fillets into small slices. Put three slices of fish on the bottom of each tartlet, smear the sauce on top and decorate as desired.
