Spicy, hearty and vitamin syabzi govurma pilaf with lamb and greens

Ingredients


lamb flesh 600 g
mixed greens 600 g
onions 250 g
basmati rice 200 g
melted butter 120 g
thin pita 1 piece
turmeric 1 tsp.
salt, black pepper to taste

Instructions


Step 1

Slice meat, fry in oil until browned. Season with salt and pepper, pour boiling water over and stew for 20 minutes.

Step 2

Boil the rice in salted water with turmeric and discard on a sieve.

Step 3

Put a pita on the bottom of the pan, grease it with oil, place the rice in it, pour oil over it, cover the pan with a lid and leave it to heat up.

Step 4

Meanwhile, cut the onion into half rings, fry it in oil.

Step 5

Add the chopped herbs and fry until they reduce in volume.

Step 6

Then combine with the meat and stew for 3-4 minutes. Serve rice with meat and greens. Bon appetit!
