Juicy, savory meatloaf with walnut pesto sauce, ham and cheese

| ham 120 g |
| grated hard cheese 150 g |
| breadcrumbs 100 g |
| olive oil 20 ml |
| paprika 1 tsp. |
| dried garlic 1 tsp. |
| salt, black pepper to taste |
| SOUCE: |
| green basil and parsley leaves 60 g |
| roasted walnuts 60 g |
| parmesan 80 g |
| garlic 1 clove |
| wine vinegar 15 ml |
| olive oil 30 ml |
| salt to taste |
Step 1
Chop the garlic and combine in a blender with the rest of the ingredients for the sauce. Whisk until smooth.
Step 2
Mix the minced meat, breadcrumbs, egg, salt and spices.
Step 3
Cover a baking tray with foil, grease it with oil and lay the minced meat on it in the shape of a rectangle. Top with pesto sauce, thin slices of ham and cheese.
Step 4
Using the foil, twist a tight roll and bake it at 175 degrees for 70 minutes.
Step 5
Remove the foil, increase the temperature to 190 degrees and bake for another 10 minutes. Then let the roll rest for 10-15 minutes. Bon appetit!
