Criminally delicious Falsomagro — meatloaf with hard-boiled eggs and flavorful breadcrumbs
beef patties (200 g each) 2 pieces |
bacon (can be replaced with ham or salami) 80 g |
eggs (boiled) 2 pcs |
parsley 15 g |

pelati tomatoes 400 g |

salt, sugar, Italian herbs to taste |

Step 1
Cover the meat with foil and baste. Season with salt and pepper. Place cheese slices, egg halves, thin slices of bacon and parsley sprigs on the edge of each piece of meat. Roll up tightly and secure the edges with toothpicks. Then fry in olive oil until crisp.
Step 2
Transfer the rolls to a saucepan, add the frying oil and pour boiling water over them. Cook with the lid ajar over high heat until 2 tablespoons of liquid remain. Turn occasionally.
Step 3
Prepare the sauce. Place tomatoes in a saucepan, mash with a fork, add crushed garlic, olive oil, Italian herbs, salt and sugar. Cook over medium-high heat for 10 minutes.
Step 4
Meanwhile, sauté chopped garlic in olive oil, add breadcrumbs, salt, sugar and stir fry until browned.
Step 5
Serve Falsomagro rolls with sauce and aromatic breadcrumbs. Enjoy!
