Risotto with green peas, bacon and parmesan

An exquisite Italian dish - risotto with green peas, bacon and parmesan.

Ingredients


arborio rice 160 g
onions 60 g
olive oil 25 ml
butter 40 g
chicken broth 0,5 l
green peas 100 g
bacon 100 g
parmesan 100 g
cream 100 ml
white dry wine 100 ml
TO TASTE:
salt
black pepper
thyme

Instructions


Step 1

Fry the chopped onion and bacon in olive oil.

Step 2

Add the rice and fry, stirring until it becomes translucent.

Step 3

Add the thyme, pour in the wine and allow it to evaporate.

Step 4

Mix the chicken broth with the cream and pour it in in two or three batches, letting it evaporate. Finally add the peas, butter, grated parmesan and salt.

Step 5

Cook until the cheese is melted. Season with black pepper. Enjoy!
