Fried brie cheese with bread crust and spiced olive sauce
Brie cheese 200 g |
egg 1 egg |
breadcrumbs 60 g |
olive oil 140 ml |
olives (seedless) 80 g |
capers 25 g |
lemon zest 1 tsp. |
honey 20 g |
TO TASTE: |
salt |
black pepper |
red pepper |
thyme |

Step 1
Combine the chopped olives and capers in a saucepan with forty milliliters of oil, zest, peppers, thyme and honey. Stir and heat slightly.
Step 2
In one bowl mix the egg with salt and black pepper, and in another bowl mix the breadcrumbs with Italian herbs. Dip the cheese in the egg, coat in the breadcrumbs, then do the same again.
Step 3
Fry in oil until browned. Serve the cheese with the sauce. Enjoy.
