Milk rice porridge with cherry sauce, roasted hazelnuts and pistachios
milk 250 ml |
round rice 60 g |
starch 1 tbsp. |
cherries 250 g |
water 13 ml |
sugar 13 g |
salt pinch |
pistachios 7 g |
hazelnuts 7 g |
Step 1
Boil the milk in a saucepan. Pour in the rice, sugar and salt.
Step 2
Cook the rice for 5-6 minutes until soft. Then remove the pot from the heat and allow the rice to swell.
Step 3
Finely chop the hazelnuts and pistachios and fry in a pan until lightly browned.
Step 4
Pour the water into the pan and add the starch. Remove the pips from the cherries and put them in the saucepan with the water. Stew the berries for about 7-8 minutes until soft.
Step 5
Stir in the rice porridge, hazelnuts, pistachios and cherries. Serve the dish in deep plates and enjoy its great flavor. Enjoy!
