Juicy grilled peach with basil-lime syrup.
firm peaches (or nectarines) 4 pieces |
vegetable oil 20 ml |
cane sugar 25 g |
FOR THE SYRUP: |
cane sugar 120 g |
water 60 ml |
lime juice 60 ml |
basil 30 g |
Step 1
Prepare the syrup. Mix the sugar and lime juice in a saucepan, add the basil leaves, pour in the water and simmer for 15 minutes (the syrup can be prepared in advance at home).
Step 2
Cut the peaches in half, remove the seeds, sprinkle with sugar and drizzle with oil.
Step 3
Place them on the rack skin-side down and fry for 2 minutes on each side.
Step 4
Pour syrup over the finished peaches. Enjoy.
